George joined us in 2015 as a marine surveyor and is involved with the entire spectrum of P&I cases including casualty work. He is also part of the TTT (Troubleshooting Traveling Team) and travels on principals’ instructions on cases outside our region. George is a Master Mariner (Captain, Class B) and prior to joining Kalimbassieris he worked as Operations Manager of a fishing fleet operating in Africa and Greece, and Operations Manager/DPA for a bulker operator. George is a graduate of the Aspropyrgos Nautical Academy.

Apart from native Greek and English, George is fluent in French.
