Selma splits time between back office work administration, and assisting with crew and cargo claims. She joined Kalimbassieris in 2016 as a law graduate with experience working as inhouse legal assistant at the crewing department of a container line and with a trading company.

Apart from her native Romanian and English, Selma speaks Arabic and Turkish and is a licensed interpreter from Arabic /Turkish for the purposes of the Ministry of Interior for refugees.

Selma obtained her law degree from the Romanian-American University in Bucharest.
