Increase of the Administrative Fines for Pollution in Turkish Waters with Effect from 01.01.2022

Based on “Revaluation Rate” by The Ministry of Treasury and Finance announced at Official
Gazette numbered 31672 on 27th November 2021, The Ministry of Environment and Urbanization
declared new administrative fine rates which is promulgated at Official Gazette numbered 31705
(2nd repeating) on 30th December 2021 whereby the level of fine is increased by 36.20% in
comparison to the previous rates with effect from the 1st of January 2022.
