Kalimbassieris Maritime seeks to employ a highly motivated and positive individual for the position of P&I Claims Handler in Alexandria. The position involves hands-on, cost-effective handling of claims including cargo, pollution, damage to property and crew. Mentality to solve problems, close contact and relationship with insurance clients, shipowners and brokers will be required for the effective performance of the role. Candidates can have a legal/claims experience or operations, chartering background with a shipping company and/or agency firm. Advanced English, quick learning ability and will to work independently, but also as part of a successful team are necessary.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience:-
• University level education, preferably but not necessarily legal or marine
• Past legal / claims experience or operations, chartering background with a shipping company and/or agency firm
