Cenk joined the Kalimbassieris family as a Senior Marine Surveyor, bringing over 10 years of sea experience on oceangoing vessels. He has also spent 6 years in shore-based management roles, including positions as superintendent and technical manager, and 3 years as Chief Engineer for Coastal Safety tugs. Cenk also has 7 years of engineering and management experience in non-maritime industrial factories.

He holds an executive MBA from Maltepe University and a marine engineering degree from Istanbul Technical University. He has an active Chief Engineer license for oceangoing vessels and also a Yacht Master 499 GT license. His diverse expertise covers chemical tankers, bulk carriers, oceangoing tugboats as well as mega yachts.
