Islam joined Kalimbassieris Maritime Alexandria office in 2023 as a Hull & Machinery surveyor.

Islam carries an extensive marine technical experience spanning over 13 years having worked as an Assistant Engineer Superintendent at an Egyptian shipping company for 6 years dealing with audits, flag, class inspections onboard vessels as well as dry dock works. He also held a DPA position at an affiliate shipbuilding company of Suez Canal Authority for 4 years and deputy DPA / junior superintendent engineer for 3 years.

He holds a B.Sc. in Marine Engineering & Naval Architecture from The Alexandria University.
