Mehmet holds a B.Sc. in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering and an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University (ITU, B.Sc.).

He joined Kalimbassieris in 2023, as a Senior Marine Surveyor mostly dealing with all aspects of H&M and casualty surveying and consultancy work.

Mehmet carries more than 30 years of marine technical experience. Before joining us, he was a principal surveyor with an IACS Classification Society, in Turkey and China both on new constructions and ships in service.

More recently, he spent time in China supervising new construction vessels on behalf of Owners’ on-site team.
