Discharging of Scrubbers Washing Water Into Turkish Territorial Waters

A new announcement was made by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization of Turkey dated 06.04.2021 regarding the prohibition of discharge of scrubber system washing waters in Turkish territorial waters.

In the announcement, it is now officially forbidden to discharge any scrubber system washing water in Turkish territorial waters.
