Kalimbassieris Maritime Opens Iskenderun Office

Kalimbassieris Maritime is pleased to announce the opening of a new office in Iskenderun. This follows seven years after the establishment of the Istanbul office and three years after the opening of our Izmir office.

The move into Iskenderun is a result of substantial growth in our Turkish business and the rising need for a permanent local presence in the South-East coast of Turkey. With this office we will be able to better service this busy growing region, with easier and much faster access to the industrial terminals within the Gulf of Iskenderun as well as to the nearby port of Mersin.

Heading up the Iskenderun office is Capt. Gokhan Kizilkaya, a Master Mariner with more than 16 years of sea and shore experience in the industry. He has served within the company’s Istanbul office and prior to joining Kalimbassieris, worked as a Marine Superintendent & DPA with a Turkish shipping company operating OBO vessels.
