Emir joined Kalimbassieris Maritime in 2024 as a Senior Claims Handler. He graduated from Koc University in 2012 and holds an LLM degree in International Maritime Law from Swansea University, from which he graduated in 2015.

He is a lawyer registered with the İstanbul Bar Association and held an Associate position at a leading law firm in Istanbul specializing in maritime cases, litigation, and legal consultancy.
