Stamatis is Group Director responsible for our yacht practice both in Greece and Overseas.

Stamatis joined Kalimbassieris in 2001 as a P&I surveyor and claims handler and worked on a variety of cases but with emphasis on liquid cargo claims. In 2008 he switched into yacht work and has since worked on developing and expanding the yacht practice to what it is today.

Before joining Kalimbassieris, he was a Chief Officer serving on tankers predominantly in the US. He holds a BSc in Maritime studies from the University of Piraeus.
